How will you have an impact in this role?
The Acre Edge Product Agronomist will be responsible for helping develop a local market for our products. This will entail training our local sales team, our Grow Team, as well as external companies that want to support our Acre Edge Brand. This position will also be responsible for helping with product development to create products that fit our trade territory.
What will you do?
- Market expansion of Acre Edge Products through these main duties:Training Internal Landus Staff Members.
- Training retail partners on our products.
- Training our agent sales team on our products.
- Creating internal and external media forms to promote and grow knowledge around our products.
- Managing trails and building the story about the “WHY” Acre Edge.
- Helping with joint sales call with our sales team to grow the Acre Edge Brand.
- Effectively working with Marketing and Communications to develop promotional information on the Acre Edge Performance Products.

- Provide influential direction on technologies that both Landus and its farmer owners can effectively use in their daily lives.
- Promote a sales and growth culture with all employees within the Business Units.
- Support leaning into the future of agriculture by promoting and being an advocate for new technology, data, and working with farmers to increase supply chain visibility to drive value back to the farm.
- Help grow acres enrolled in Landus High Yield Learning Groups.
- Display positive image of Landus to industry professionals.
- Ensure safety and quality policies are adhered to.
- Identify, prevent, and control duplication and like items.
- Establish/maintain market intelligence on all products
- Provide resources and outlets to remove old items from inventory.
- Support P&L process.
- Support budget process.
- Promote open dialogue of needs, problems and performance improvement between Landus and customers.
- Collaborate across Business Units, Areas, locations and departments to share ideas, best practices, programs, and identify additional opportunities to work as One Landus to become efficient, maximize opportunities and create growth for our farmer and company.
- Responsible for being a champion of safety compliance throughout organization.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license.
