AIMMS Supply Chain Developer

To further grow the team, we are currently looking to hire an

AIMMS Supply Chain Developer

Are you passionate about Mathematical Optimization and about supporting people and organizations to be successful with building OR applications? As a member of our User Support group, you will help existing customers achieve long-term success as well as contribute to bringing in new business with your AIMMS expertise.

Your major tasks and responsibilities

You will:

• provide workshops, demos, and presentations to prospective customers.
• respond to questions and issues submitted by AIMMS users: O.R. professionals, modeling engineers and application developers, both at customers and our implementation partners.
• try to reproduce bugs and cover both modeling questions and questions on the best use of AIMMS.
• Give and build (e-learning) training courses, workshops and webinars on the use of AIMMS to existing AIMMS users.
• build and maintain relationships with existing users by supporting them in their optimization projects. Includes answering questions about using AIMMS, recommendations on best practices.

Your profile

This job requires the best of both worlds: deep expertise combined with the ambition and skills to engage with prospects and customers.

• You have a background in Optimization Modeling (i.e., a master's degree in Mathematical Optimization, Industrial Engineering, Econometrics, and/or Applied Mathematics).
• You feel excited about software for developing applications based on mathematical optimization and are keenly motivated to learn all about AIMMS.
• You are ambitious about helping others apply mathematical optimization to real life business problems using market-leading software.
• You are passionate about engaging with customers and prospective customers to build a relationship and establish trust.
• You have prior experience with the use of one or more optimization modeling languages (such as AIMMS, GAMS, AMPL, OPL Studio or FICO Express) or solvers (such as GUROBI or CPLEX).
• You preferably have a few years of relevant work experience.
