Job Description:

As an App Tester at JobEntry Limited, you will be a vital part of our development team. You'll be responsible for meticulously assessing the functionality, usability, and performance of our applications to guarantee a flawless user experience. Your attention to detail and passion for delivering top-notch software will play a pivotal role in our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Testing: Execute thorough tests on our mobile and web applications, identifying and documenting any defects or inconsistencies to ensure they meet quality benchmarks.
• Test Planning: Collaborate closely with the development and product teams to create comprehensive test plans and test cases that align with project requirements.
• Bug Reporting: Skillfully document and report identified issues through issue tracking tools, offering clear and concise steps to replicate problems for efficient resolution.
• Regression Testing: Conduct systematic regression tests to validate bug fixes and guarantee that new features don't introduce new issues.
• Compatibility Testing: Verify the compatibility of our apps across various devices, browsers, and operating systems.
• Usability Testing: Evaluate the user interface and overall user experience, providing constructive feedback for enhancing app usability.
• Performance Testing: Analyze app performance, pinpointing bottlenecks and proposing optimizations for speed and responsiveness.
• Test Automation: Collaborate with our automation team to develop and execute automated test scripts, enhancing testing efficiency.
• Documentation: Maintain organized test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and comprehensive testing reports.
• Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration with developers, product managers, and team members throughout the development and testing phases.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience: Demonstrated experience in manual testing of mobile and web applications.
• Methodologies: Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Tools: Familiarity with issue tracking and test management tools such as Jira and TestRail.
• Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication skills for team collaboration.
• Automation: Experience with test automation tools and scripting languages is a plus.
• Development: Knowledge of software development and programming concepts is a plus.
