Architectural Revit Drafter

Our Revit Technicians create drawings for the production of concrete products including layouts, elevations, sections and field connections for structural and architectural projects using Revit. Recognizable projects include Target Field in Minneapolis, Avera on Louise in Sioux Falls, and the Ralph L. Carr Judicial Center in Denver.

Typical work schedule is 40 hours per week.
Choice of working hours: 5 8-hour shifts or 4 10-hour shifts.

Job Duties:

• Complete layouts, sections, piece tickets, and summaries, cut pieces, bearing pads and details, standard notes, and notches/openings.
• Place and draw field connections and weld plates.
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail to create drawings in Revit in accordance to engineer instructions.
• Read and understand basic structural and architectural plans.
• Interpret contract drawings (architectural, structural, HVAC, plumbing, etc. to alert engineering to non-typical situations and interferences.
• Address onsite issues with jobsite and resolve problems/retrieve information from subcontractors for fixes or repairs.
• Work both independently and as a team player to complete tasks according to production schedules.
• Demonstrate reliability through excellent attendance and on-time completion of assignments.
• Communicate orally and in writing with production, coworkers, and contractors in an effective and professional manner.

Requirements:

• Degree from technical school or equivalent experience.
• Revit experience required.
• Ability to work overtime and/or extended schedule as needed to meet deadlines.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new software.
• Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality in daily operations and conduct oneself in a professional appearance and manner.
• Work environment includes sitting for extended periods of time and making repeated movements of fingers and wrists.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
