This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00am – 4:30pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure billing inventory for all assigned accounts is managed within defined processes and meets activity metrics and financial goals, as set by the company.
- Responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate primary and/or secondary billing of all accounts of assigned inventory.
- Responsible for entering any required updates into the client system to ensure accurate billing.
- Responsible for denial or error resolution of all assigned claims.
- Ensure proper and timely notes are documented in both Change Healthcare system and client system.
- Keeps the manager aware of any issues that may be impacting claims resolution.
- Helps to build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- 1+ years experience billing with denial and error resolution in a hospital setting
- Experience with EPIC, Cerner, Meditech, or other PAS
- Ability to adhere HIPPA policies and confidentiality processes
- Experience with Assurance (ePremis, Relay), SSI, or other billing systems
- Hospital UB04 billing experience - sending out claim forms, attaching documents, etc.
- Knowledge of Commercial, Worker’s Comp, Medicaid, and/or Medicare billing guidelines
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams)
- Ability to work our normal business hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Medicaid billing in multiple states
Telecommuting Requirements:
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
