Description
Goshen Accounting Services, an impact-driven accounting and advisory firm serving the nonprofit community nationwide, seeks a detail-oriented bookkeeper for a 10-15 hour per week remote role.
In your first 90 days as an independent contractor, you'll receive comprehensive training and testing on nonprofit accounting principles and our systems. If you demonstrate proficiency, there is potential for an ongoing role with variable compensation based on the quality of your work.
We're a small but mighty team that values dedication, attention to detail, and mastering nonprofit accounting workflows in QuickBooks Online. This is a flexible remote opportunity to make a difference while sharpening your skills.
The bookkeeper will utilize nonprofit accounting principles to record expenses, prepaid expense adjustments, payroll allocation bills, and receipt transactions for multiple clients into QuickBooks Online and perform other duties.
Our ideal candidate has 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience, knowledge of nonprofit accounting principles, and proficiency in QuickBooks Online. Previous experience supporting multiple clients using is a plus.
Experience using Asana, Divvy, and Hubdoc are needed. Above all, we seek someone committed to delivering high-quality work and continuous learning.
