Job Summary
The Business Development Specialist focuses on growing the business and extending the reach of our services in order to increase revenue. The duties include identifying new sales leads, pitching the company’s services, and building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients.
Job Duties
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships, or new products and services
- Create and implement strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities. Expected to use strategic email campaigns, high volume cold calling, follow leads, etc.
- Build relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs
- Pitch services to new and existing clients
- Attend conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends
- Create sales forecasts and actively work towards reaching them
- Maintain a strong understanding of the company’s services, the competition in the industry and positioning
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure that business development activities and materials are correctly aligned with business needs

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
