Job Description
The Clinical Data Analyst supports the Clinical Informatics Department’s transformation of data into actionable intelligence. Using established standards, the Analyst acquires, processes, transforms, analyzes, reports and manages disparate sources of clinical data to enable and promote data-driven decision making throughout the enterprise.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Support clinical data acquisition, analysis and reporting efforts within the Clinical Informatics department.
- Adhere to established industry and enterprise data governance and quality standards.
- Leverage database and web-based solutions for data acquisition and reporting.
- Data processing, standardization, transformation and management.
- Database querying and reporting.
- Data validation to ensure accuracy, comprehensiveness, consistent and currency of data.
- Data mapping.
- Identification of exceptions within data sets.
- Show appropriate comparisons, relationships and linkages.
- Monitor web-based dashboards for trends and exceptions, identify opportunities.
- Integrate data solutions into existing infrastructure.
- Drive performance improvement through data analysis.
- Provide actionable insights derived from data.
- Effectively interact and communication with external data acquisition and/or processing vendors and internal business partners.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Standard office software, including spreadsheets, documents, presentations, databases, files and folders.
- Web-based applications including dashboards, registries, analytics and presentation platforms.
- Critical thinking.
- Attention to detail.
- Flexibility.
- Initiative and ability to prioritize multiple deliverables.
- Excellent written and oral communication, including presentation skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in health science, computer science, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
- 2 or more years of clinical data management experience preferred.
PHYSICAL DIMENSIONS: Sedentary, not required to exert force or lift more than 10 pounds of weight
Salary Range: $51,638-$86,063
