Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Content Marketing Writer reports to the Director of Marketing and is accountable for all content marketing initiatives and supports customer communications for Ameriflex.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (Core Competencies)
- Collaborate with sales professionals, customer service leaders and industry experts to produce well-researched content for publication online
- Provide messaging, writing, and proofreading support for all lines of business (client/participant communications, collateral, training materials, sales presentations, etc.)
- Develop related content for multiple platforms, such as websites, email marketing, product descriptions, videos, and blogs
- Follow an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the content production team to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Monitor and analyze the performance of key performance indicators (KPIs) to offer suggestions for improvement
- Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search results
- Work with outside vendors, when applicable, to provide external communications support (drafting press releases, media pitches, ce courses etc.)
CREDENTIALS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in a related industry preferred
- A proven track record of producing high-quality, measurable, effective communications and content aligned with company priorities and communications objectives
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Able to learn and apply Ameriflex voice, writing standards, and guidelines
- The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
- Understanding of SEO and best practices
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of CDH products or other health benefits is a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work in an office environment; sustain posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time; use hands to grasp and reach; occasionally stoop or kneel; see, hear, and speak with sufficient acuity to successfully perform all aspects of the job; use telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means; lift up to ten pounds of weight.
