HOW A CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Contracts Lead on sole source proposal activities and competitive proposals valued under $350M
• Guiding the Program and proposal teams on contract requirements
• Working with Teaming Partners and Government customers to develop a smooth transition between responsibilities
• Ensuring the contractual pathway to cloud transition is clear for the Mission Partners
• Mentor early career professionals and lower-level colleagues via a Program or Business Area Lead role
• Ability to tactically influence the closure of contractual issues caused by scope creep or the need to develop program project processes
• Ability to assess, evaluate, and manage program costs, burn rates, and supplier commitments to ensure Program monthly financials are in line with negotiated position and monthly funding needs
• Understanding of Government Furnished Property (GFP), use, and contractual management thereof
• Ensures internal contractual compliance with relevant terms and conditions and compliance with designated management objectives
• Provides advice, counsel and interpretation of contracts and acquisition requirements to various leaders daily
• Negotiates contracts, including price, terms, and conditions, and reviews subsequent contractual documents for legal sufficiency prior to execution
• Serves as point of contact and trusted advisor with internal departments concerning specific contract questions, issues, and problems related to Sector contracts
• Reviews requests for proposals and participates in proposal color reviews to include providing input on pricing and scheduling strategies, coordination of requirements and proposal risk assessments
• Engages agency contracting executive counterparts to develop and cultivate relationships
• Reviews and approves solicited and unsolicited proposals for submission to customers
• Reviews and negotiates various types of agreements
• Interprets contractual work requirements and obligations
• Makes recommendations regarding contracts implementation
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant contractual procedures and practices

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related experience in contract administration. In lieu of degree, 12+ years of related experience in contract administration required.
• Required Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
• Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong time management skills.
• Advanced knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing contracts, including FAR and DFAR. Ability to work independent of management oversite. Ability to tactically and strategically develop contractual solutions to mitigate risk. Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred Skills and Abilities: Experience with GSA and IT 70 Schedule contract vehicles. Experience with managing FEDSIM contracts. Experience with Information and Technology (IT) Services and Solution and Professional Services contracts. Experience working classified programs.
• Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance required. Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI.
• Travel: Less than 15% of travel required
• Location: This will be a hybrid position working between our GDIT facility in Tampa, FL and remote
