The Credentialing Coordinator assembles and maintains credentialing legal files for both credentialing committee meetings and auditors. Works within the internal data processing systems for maintenance and loading of the provider’s information with the data system.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Processes initial credentialing applications
- Processes re-credentialing applications
- Performs primary source verification of credentials
- Requests appropriate missing or incomplete information as necessary
- Uses mail, email, fax, web sites and telephone to obtains necessary elements
- Ongoing monitoring of credentialed network for accuracy
- Assists in entering credentialing information in database
- Respond to provider written and verbal inquiries

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 1+ year provider credentialing experience
- 1+ year experience with MS Suite Programs (MS Word, Outlook and Excel)
- 6+ months experience with database tracking systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates Degree
- Previous experience developing written correspondence to providers

California, Colorado, Nevada, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island or Washington Residents Only: The hourly range for California, Colorado, Nevada, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island or Washington residents is $16.00 to $31.44.
