Description
Must be a current contractor with Cigna Healthcare, Evernorth Health Services, or one of their subsidiaries.
The phone verification representative will review applications and complete interviews with applicants via phone for Medicare supplement and supplemental health products to ensure accuracy of application. This position uses multiple systems to review and notate work in accordance with federal/state guidelines as well as Medicare guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Intermediate organizational and time- management focus, with attention to detail
- Ability to work under own initiative
- Prior Insurance experience preferred
- Conduct & complete medical questionnaires with applicants
- 1+ years’ experience in call center environment preferred
- Experience communicating with medical terminology a plus

- Intermediate computer skills – experience with Windows 10 operating systems (Outlook, Word)

- Candidates must have a quiet and private space designated for focused work
