Description
We're looking for someone passionate about providing excellent customer service to our clients and policyholders. As our next insurance customer service representative, you will show our policyholders the value of being one of our customers by generating insurance quotations and providing coverage advice. You'll also be in charge of giving current policyholders excellent customer service by resolving billing issues, amending policies, and making policy suggestions. Compensation:$50,000
Responsibilities:
- Make accurate modifications to consumer policies depending on the information supplied
- Communicate with the customers about complaints, give acceptable solutions, and follow up to ensure that the problem was fixed
- Maintain a record of customer interactions and follow up on their experience with our organization
- Validate client insurance coverage and present policyholders with proof of insurance documents
- Remain up to date on new marketing initiatives to accurately address insurance-related questions using all available tools
Qualifications:
- Display strong communication skills, active listening skills, and personal skills
- Knowledge of insurance products and policy schedules is preferred
- Possesses basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and customer database systems
- High school diploma or GED equivalent needed
- Previous customer service experience required for this position
