We are seeking a dedicated Data Entry Clerk to join our team remotely and play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our data records. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for efficiently extracting data from API audit reports and entering this information into Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. Your attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and strong communication skills will be essential in collaborating with the team and ensuring the smooth flow of information.
Data Entry Clerk Key Responsibilities:
- Data Extraction and Entry: Retrieve data from API audit reports and accurately input it into designated Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. Ensure precision and correctness while maintaining consistent formatting and organization.
- Communication: Utilize Microsoft Outlook to facilitate internal communication within the team. Efficiently share updates, clarify information, and collaborate on projects that involve data entry tasks.
- Collaboration with Production Team: Partner with the Production team to arrange and categorize audit reports. Your contribution will be crucial in streamlining the data management process and facilitating a seamless workflow.
- General Office Tasks: Contribute to routine office tasks as needed to support the overall functioning of the team and maintain a conducive work environment.
Heavy Computer Work: Embrace a role that involves substantial computer-based work. Your proficiency in using digital tools will be instrumental in executing tasks efficiently.
Data Entry Clerk Qualifications:
- Excel Proficiency: A strong understanding of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to manage data, utilize formulas, and manipulate spreadsheets effectively.
- Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for detail to ensure precision in data entry and the ability to identify and correct errors.
- Effective Communication Skills: Proficiency in verbal, written, and listening communication, enabling you to interact with team members and convey information clearly.
- Adaptability: Openness to change and flexibility in adapting to evolving tasks and priorities.
- Sense of Urgency: Demonstrated ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality results even when faced with time-sensitive tasks.
Education: High school diploma or GED as a minimum educational requirement.
Typing Speed: A typing speed of at least 10,000 keystrokes per hour (ksph).
