Job Summary
Master Care-givers, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides personal support and companion services to people with physical and/or mental disabilities in five different counties in Central Florida on the Medicaid waiver.
We are seeking a Data Entry Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will accurately transfer information into our database system. Your responsibilities may include verifying data, updating existing information, entering new information, and other administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is a fast and accurate typist with attention to detail and excellent computer skills. Understanding of data confidentiality principles is compulsory. The company will rely on you for having accurate and updated data that are easily accessible through a digital database.
Responsibilities
- Collect information directly from electronic PDFs and enter information into the database
- Confirm accuracy of data by comparing to original documents
- Perform regular backup of data
- Maintain an organized filing system of original documents.
- Update existing data
- Retrieve data from the electronic data base as requested.
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Pass background screening
- Previous experience as a Data Entry Clerk or in a similar position is preferred
- Typing speed of 45 words per minute with a high level of accuracy
- Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Understanding of databases
- Familiarity with standard office equipment such as fax machines and printers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
