Looking for an opportunity to directly impact the success of a growing technology company? Emergent Software is excited to hire a talented marketing professional who will help us increase our website traffic and generate new leads that will become exciting software development, cloud transformation or data engineering projects for our team.

Primary Duties

• Increase web user engagement & lead conversion through A/B testing, UX improvements, etc.
• Obtain quality backlinks to increase domain authority
• Improve and maintain technical SEO on our websites
• Keyword research and tracking
• Optimize page titles & content for search engines
• Manage our online directory listings and sponsorships
• Work with our content writer to maintain our social media presence
• Work with clients to get reviews and testimonials for marketing purposes
• Manage email and client outreach campaigns using HubSpot
• Manage advertising campaigns including Google Ads, Social Media Ads, Print Ads, etc.
• Other marketing and/or internal company activities as directed by leadership

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years’ experience in digital marketing
• Google Analytics experience
• Semrush, Ahrefs or Moz experience
• Analytical skills to help identify what works and continually refine our efforts
• Strong understanding of SEO concepts
• Strong social media skills
• Solid understanding of digital marketing best practices
• Understanding of marketing language concepts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience managing/maintaining website content
• Technology knowledge specifically about software development, cloud & data engineering
• Enthusiastic about software and technology

Nice to Have:

• Experience writing about technology topics
• Copy editing experience
• HubSpot experience
• Google Tag Manager experience
• Google Ads experience
• Other marketing & website analytics tools
