Director of Membership Development
Located in the heart of San Antonio’s cultural and business epicenter, BNG Hospitality’s new Private Club will be the place where community leaders and changemakers get business done. BNG is changing the dynamic of the traditional club experience while still holding true to the keystones of Private Club life. We are looking for an experienced sales leader to generate Membership growth while this new Club is under development. The Director of Membership Development will be responsible for the achievement of Membership growth both before and after the Club’s grand opening as well as initiatives and projects set forth by leadership. Success will be based on the ability to execute the below responsibilities.
Essential Responsibilities
- Conduct market research, synthesize findings, and work with senior team members to propose recommendations that shape Club Membership strategy.
- Devise and implement a comprehensive plan to generate a prospect pipeline to achieve Membership growth ahead of Club opening.
- Active community involvement to represent and promote the Club and Membership strategy.
- Consistently construct new gameplans to reach new groups of Member prospects by researching and analyzing membership and market trends.
- Responsible for New Member communication campaign resulting in Member referrals.
- Work with senior leaders to execute marketing campaigns via social media, direct mail, and website content.
Additional Responsibilities
- Implementation and execution of all company programs and initiatives.
- Work with leadership to develop New Member onboarding process
- Work with leadership to develop and implement retention strategies
- Maintain communication with leadership and colleagues by attending weekly calls and meetings.
- During Market and prospect research, identify and develop a governing board for the new Club.
- This position will work independently and often time remotely. Self-awareness and attention to time management and organization is a must.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5 years’ experience in business development or membership sales
- § 2-3 years with combined education
- Experience in pre-sales/start up preferred
- Experience in Private Club Membership Sales Preferred
- Proficient in computer software including but not limited to office suite and CRM
- Management/Leadership Experience
- Sales Training
Compensation and Benefits
- $100K+ annually
- Base salary + Commission
