About Curate:
Curate (shopthecurate.com) is a small, woman-owned online fashion retailer specializing in sustainable and ethical women's apparel and accessories. We are looking for a freelance e-commerce digital marketing expert who’s passionate about following the latest trends in the digital sphere. This role will include assessing and analyzing our current marketing strategy, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing and managing our digital marketing efforts on Google, Meta, and other platforms as needed.
Description:
- The ideal candidate possesses a combination of marketing skills, fashion industry knowledge, and creative problem-solving.
- General Assessment and Strategy Development: Assess and analyze current digital marketing strategy and results, identify areas for opportunity, and develop comprehensive advertising strategies, targeting the right audience, and aligning with business goals.
- Campaign Implementation and Management: Plan, execute, and optimize all aspects of our Google Ads and paid Meta campaigns to increase brand visibility, engagement, and conversions. Create and manage a campaign calendar.
- Ad Creation Consulting and Testing: Advise our creative team on how to develop compelling ad copy, visual assets, and ad formats that are optimized for various Google and Meta campaigns, and utilize our creative assets to conduct A/B testing to continuously improve ad performance.
- Audience Targeting: Utilize platform-specific targeting options to reach the desired audience segments, including demographic, interest-based, and behavioral targeting.
- Budget Management: Monitor and manage advertising budgets, ensuring efficient spending and maximizing return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Performance Tracking, Analysis and Reporting: Monitor campaign performance, analyze and interpret data, and generate actionable insights to optimize campaigns. Prepare bi-weekly reports to communicate performance and provide recommendations to our team.
- Conversion Tracking and Optimization: Implement tracking mechanisms to measure campaign performance, including conversion tracking and attribution models. Optimize campaigns based on performance metrics.
- Email Marketing: Assess current email marketing strategy and provide guidance on how to improve.
- Stay updated with platform trends: Keep current on the latest trends, updates, and best practices on Meta and Google to maximize campaign effectiveness.
- Collaboration: Work closely with us to align social media advertising strategies with overall marketing initiatives and goals.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience with the following:
- Google Ads
- Google Analytics
- Meta Ads
- Email Marketing
- Conversion Rate Optimization
- Shopify
- Consulting
- Proven record of success with optimizing campaigns and increasing conversions
- Curious and passionate about digital marketing for e-commerce companies
- A commitment to collaborative teamwork with a positive, can-do approach
- Effective communicator, eager to give and receive feedback
- Marketing-minded with a design-driven sensibility
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred:
- Experience in Fashion and/or Retail a plus
- Interest in Sustainable and Ethical Fashion a plus
Additional Information:
This will be an ongoing project where our goal is to meet on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to review results and discuss next steps.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
