eCommerce Copy Writer Temp (Remote)

We are looking for a talented writer to join our site merchandising team on a temporary basis. As the Copy Writer, you’ll incorporate our fun and quirky brand voice into product detail copy. You’ll work closely with our content specialists, site merchants and buying teams.

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of producing content that increases engagement, sentiment, and drive sales while still staying on voice. This position requires a high level of creativity, knowledge of SEO optimization and the ability to prioritize and manage many skus at once.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality compelling product descriptions that are SEO friendly and optimized for conversion
• Edit and enhance product copy produced by DTC vendors
• Collaborate with cross functional teams on gathering missing data needed in order to write copy
• Ensure all-around consistency in voice, tone and brand

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism or related field
• At least 3 years of experience writing, preference given for retail, furniture or fashion

Experience.

• Excellent writing skills as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
• Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO
• BS in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field
