Engineering Project Coordinator IV
Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:
Design and Release:
- Partner with Technical Program Managers in driving product development milestones, like the OK2FAB cross-functional sign-off process.
- Coordinate with Product Life Management (PLM) team and Engineering to create and handle Bill of Materials (BOMs), part numbers, and release design and drawings documentation for the Electrical Engineering (EE) team.
- Create Purchase Requisitions, maintain invoice tracking and Goods Receipts against spend and forecast budget.
- Assist with third-party contractors - adding vendors to system, onboarding steps.
Build and Allocations:
- Communicate with vendors regarding PO/invoice, material requirement, and delivery schedule.
Support Build Matrix (BM) for Engineering builds, primarily (but not limited to) the followings: - “left half” of BM - listing key BOM components, adding part numbers, adding expected configs/suppliers for each component (TPM to own the “right half” - defining and maintaining the actual configs for the build)
- Work with team to gather allocations requests for the build, and their split across all configs of the BM
- Support Local SMT and Prototype builds:
- Work with engineers & vendors to manage day-to-day build activities
- Document & communicate local build progress
- Travel to support proto builds at contract manufacturer local and overseas, as needed (after WFH restrictions end)
- Attend conference calls with our Asia-based engineering teams and manufacturing partners
- Review Clear-To-Build (CTB) reports, resolve material shortage issues and follow up with GSM, TPM, and Engineering teams.
- Create, handle, and process Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Manufacturer Change Orders (MCO), and Deviations
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Work with CM on shipment schedule from factory and track shipments. Assist our logistics team with home delivery address collection and peer-to-peer transfer requests
- Manage prototype hardware inventory and internal device distribution
- Work with security team to recover any lost or recalled prototype hardware
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience as an Engineering Project Coordinator in consumer electronics environment.
- Experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) hardware development and collaboration with contract manufacturers in Asia.
- Experience in creating and tracking BOM (Bill of Materials) and Build Matrix by working with Engineering, TPMs and
- PLM team to complete design releases and CTB (Clear-To-Build) tracking.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills across time-zones and management of shifting priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience as an Engineering Project Coordinator in consumer electronics environment.
- BS in engineering, science, physics, or equivalent experience are preferred. Very open to strong experience with a degree in Art.
- Inventory control, device allocation, process creation and process improvement, experience working with cross functional groups in hardware, allocation device, budgeting knowledge.

- Degrees or certifications required:
- Degree preferred but not required / needs equivalent experience

- Change Control Board (CCB) tracking
- Issue organization and tracking

Salary: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
