Finance Specialist, Payroll (remote or hybrid, depending upon applicant's location)

The Job: In this position, you will provide support specific to all financial transactions in the Oracle General Ledger (GL) related to payroll for the US and Canada. You will also assist the payroll and tax teams in obtaining details needed for GL transactions and reconciliations. Additional responsibilities include addressing ServiceNow tickets related to payroll financial requests and other tickets as assigned and assisting payroll and finance staff and management with requests, projects, and questions as needed.
Must Haves:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or equivalent preferred;
· Minimum 3 years' accounting/finance experience and work with GL transactions and reconciliations
· Experience with/understanding of payroll data; solid understanding of payroll cycles
· Ability to analyze and interpret complex data, interpret day-to-day business objectives, and prepare and execute operational practices and work programs
· Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud (HCM/payroll and/or FIN) preferred, or other ERP required
Plusses: Experience with payroll processing and other payroll systems
