We are seeking a talented writer to contribute to our "People You Should Know" section, spotlighting rising stars in the music and radio industry. The candidate MUST have knowledge of rising stars and MUST know of newcomers in the music and radio industry and candidate must have experience working in the radio and/or music industry. If you have a experience and passion for the music industry and a keen eye for identifying emerging talent, this opportunity is for you. The ideal candidate will be able to produce original, engaging and informative paragraphs about each rising star while also demonstrating a solid understanding of the music industry culture, radio and record industry names, and various companies in the music industry. EXPERIENCED radio and music industry people ONLY please.

Responsibilities:

• Write a paragraph or two about each of the 10 rising stars twice a month
• Include their Instagram handles to encourage audience engagement
• Post the articles to WordPress, ensuring proper formatting and SEO optimization
• Obtain high-quality images of each person for the story, giving appropriate photo credit
• Meet strict deadlines and maintain a consistent publishing schedule
• Demonstrate excellent research and interviewing skills to gather information about the rising stars
• Collaborate with the editorial team to ensure accuracy and relevance of the content

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of the music industry culture, radio and record industry names, and various companies in the music industry
• Strong writing skills with the ability to produce engaging and concise paragraphs
• Familiarity with WordPress and basic HTML for content publishing
• Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines consistently
• Excellent research and interviewing skills to gather accurate information about each rising star
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Previous experience in music journalism or related field is a plus
