ABOUT THE ROLE

As one of our copywriters, you’ll produce content, review and provide feedback to existing content, proofread and revise scripts and graphic design content, and demonstrate best SEO practices, both in English and German.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Review and provide feedback on Shockbyte’s website content in order to improve conversion rates in English and German.
• Translate existing content to German, keeping in mind best SEO practices.
• Produce error-free content adhering to Shockbyte’s brand, both in English and German.
• Draft and revise content for a range of marketing/communication material.
• Proofread and revise scripts for videos, graphic design and social media content.
• Demonstrate best SEO practices to improve SERP rank.

REQUIRED CRITERIA

• Two (2) years of experience in copywriting / similar role.
• Experience in e-commerce optimisation.
• High proficiency in English and German.
• High attention to detail.
• Produce powerful and persuasive copy for a young audience.
• Strong copywriting skills.
• Research, simplify, and convey complex information.
• Identify, adapt, and adhere to Shockbyte’s brand.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Strong understanding of SEO concepts.

DESIRABLE TRAITS

• Relevant degrees in marketing, communications, advertising, or other related fields.
• Authentic passion for gaming.
• Some experience in marketing planning and strategizing.
• Research skills.
• Creative thinking.
