Position: Remote GIS Engineer Location: Fully Remote (United States)

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, interpret, and visualize spatial data to support project goals and business decisions.
• Develop, maintain, and update GIS databases, ensuring accuracy and integrity of geospatial information.
• Design and create maps, charts, and other visual representations to effectively communicate spatial insights.
• Utilize GIS software and tools to perform spatial analysis, modeling, and data manipulation.
• Provide technical support and expertise to internal and external stakeholders regarding GIS data and applications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, GIS, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience (X+ years) working as a GIS Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of spatial data concepts, coordinate systems, and map projections.
• Familiarity with programming languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.) for automation and customization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities in a remote work setting.
