Human Resources Recruiter

Hi Pro Inc. is a multi-state trucking company headquartered in Twentynine Palms, CA. We are seeking a Human Resources Recruiter with full-cycle recruiting experience, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring great truck drivers and other candidates. A successful recruiter will collaborate with operational managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. You should also be able to attract candidates using a variety of sources including trucking schools, social media networks and employee referrals. Our ideal recruiter has experience screening, interviewing and assessing candidates. Ultimately, the responsibility of the HR Recruiter is to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best drivers and employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline. This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Initiate driver leads by networking, cold-calling prospects, and building relationships as part of a coordinated recruiting strategy. Partner with Recruiter Partners to determine understaffed and/or labor-constrained markets and create innovative solutions to find talent through various sources including social media, job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, user groups, networking, referrals, and other creative means
• Create and maintain a pipeline of qualified drivers by using different lead generation tools
• Work in collaboration with all departmental executives, managers, and supervisors to meet recruiting and hiring objectives.
• Maintain and review driver recruiting goals to keep current with the needs of our facilities
• Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with Trucking Driving Schools, their instructors and leaders.
• Make presentations and portray Hi Pro Inc. positively during formal and informal events.
• Assist in the new driver onboarding and orientation process
• Work closely with managers and HR to coordinate timely road tests, drug tests and DOT physicals.
• Manage ad posting process and tools.
• Must be able to track and report on all activities on a routine basis
• Take the lead role during recruiting surges such as Peak Season, acquired businesses, or expanding operations.
• Perform other duties assigned by Human Resource Manager.

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; especially via telephone
• Experience in recruiting commercial truck drivers preferred
• Adept at placing ads on Indeed, Zip Recruiter, Google, Facebook and other social platforms.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations preferred
• Ability to prioritize and manage time well

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
