Internal Communications Writer (Contract)

A leading aerospace & defense contractor is seeking an Internal Communications Writer to develop compelling content for internal audiences and leverage the most effective communication channels for delivery. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to internal communications initiatives, help shape the organization's narrative, and engage with internal audiences across diverse channels. It is also a potential contract-to-hire opportunity (though not required).

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and create engaging content for internal audiences for various, aligned with the organization's communications strategy

· Collaborate with the internal communications team to identify the most impactful vehicles for communication (e.g., email, internal portal, newsletters, etc.)

· Help establish key messaging, themes, and a consistent communications cadence.

· Help develop and maintain an editorial calendar

· Partner with business leaders throughout the organization as needed to communicate activities within their respective functions and regions, bringing their stories to life

· Ensure the delivery of high-quality content that meets submission deadlines

· Support the development of new standard work to drive quality, efficiency, and consistency in communications efforts.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $80.00 per hour
