Full job description
This position provides a primary level of support to our internal customers- our employees. The IT Support Technician position provides technical assistance to internal users and will be required to perform a variety of maintenance, software installation, end-user support and training tasks to ensure end-user workstations and applications meet company and user requirements. The IT Support Technician ensures that computer equipment devices including printers, computers, networking connections, gates, security equipment, and other site-specific hardware/software is configured to conform to established guidelines and specific software uses. This includes taking on problems and resolving them via telephone, in-person, e-mail or through remote access. They will also be required to document and tracks each issue in electronic help desk ticketing system. The IT Support Technician may also be required to coordinate with vendors on warranty related defective products and conduct regular computer orientation training for internal office users. This position often requires the individual to be the authority on issue resolution and the work closely with individuals located throughout the U.S.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit and talk or hear, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
Work Hours /Locations:
This role is a fully remote position limited to the States where NSA currently operates Corporate Entities.
Eligible Remote States: Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah.
You will be expected to comply with our remote work policies. Our corporate office is in the mountain time zone. You will be expected to work a reasonable day shift consistent with our corporate office hours. Occasional travel may be required. You may optionally opt to work fully on-site or in a hybrid arrangement in either of our corporate office location instead. Both offices are located near Greenwood Village, CO.
Compensation Range:
$50,000-$62,000 Annual Salary

Company History
Arlen Nordhagen co-founded SecurCare Self Storage in 1988 to invest in and manage self storage properties. In 2007, SecurCare raised $100M of institutional capital to expand the platform. Mr. Nordhagen subsequently recognized a market opportunity for a differentiated public self storage REIT that would leverage the benefits of national scale by integrating multiple experienced regional operators with local operational focus and expertise. Mr. Nordhagen’s vision culminated in the formation of NSA in 2013 by three founding PROs (SecurCare, Northwest and Optivest).
