Job Description:

B.E.A.T. LLC is seeking a Java Developer to join our team. The developer will support the Defense Occupational and Environmental Health Readiness System-Industrial Hygiene (DOEHRS-IH) system. DOEHRS-IH is a web-based application that supports the Defense Health Agency (DHA).

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on development work using Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Coordinate between multiple disciplines (Architects, Business Analysts, Project Managers, other Developers, and
• Customers) to design, develop, implement and support complex business solutions
• Work closely with stakeholders to design and document solutions that align with the business needs and consistent with the architectural vision

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of work experience in application program development
• Minimum of 2 years hands on development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java
• Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts and ability to develop detailed application designs using proven industry patterns and best practices
• Experience working with cross-functional project teams using agile or scrum methodology
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to present confidently before a large audience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
