WHAT YOU'LL DO:

● Develop code that powers our APIs and services, written in Java

● Ensure quality by writing and carrying out unit, integration, and load tests

● Actively participate in code and design reviews

WHAT TO BRING:

● Proficient in server-side development

● Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

● Excellent debugging skills

● Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to find compromises that move the team forward

REQUIREMENTS

* Proficient in designing and implementing large scale distributed systems.

* Experience working with at least one Object Oriented Language like Java (or JVM variant languages like Kotlin).

* Functional programming experience like Scala.

* Knowledge/experience with AWS products and services (EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB,

* SQS, RDS, ElastiCache, etc.) or other cloud providers.

* CI/CD: must Jenkins, must Docker, nice to have Spinnaker

* AWS RDS, Kinesis, EKS

* Terraform

* In-depth experience working on relational and/or noSQL databases.

* Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multi-functional business partners

* Ability to investigate any technical component as well as understand and drive the overall systems architecture.

Salary: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour
