Junior Marketing Assistant

We are looking for someone who is experienced in Constant Contact and Canva and can write and edit emails based on product information provided.

• Wordpress knowledge is a plus
• Photoshop knowledge is a plus

This is a telecommuting position. You would work from home using your own computer equipment.

This is an outstanding opportunity to grow your already existing marketing experience! You will be responsible for taking direction from the company principal or a project manager, so you would have great training to expand your skills.

With clear instruction provided to you, you will be working autonomously on any number of the following:

- Copywriting and graphic design for social posts using Canva and/or Photoshop

- Creating images and drafting email content inside of Constant Contact

- Proofreading / posting blog posts

- Content editing

- Occasional client contact possible

Your ability to follow clear-cut direction is key to this position.

Ideally you are a quick technical learner who is able to think beyond the first few steps of a project (i.e., anticipating/preparing for next steps).

As your experience grows, so will your responsibility and salary.

A few important requirements.

- Must have a consistent work schedule, preferably in the mornings

- Must have a VERY keen eye for accuracy. Candidates with typos in their resume will not be considered. Please check your resume carefully before submitting.

- Must be willing to check in at the end of each day to provide updates to projects.

- Must be communicative and easy to reach.

We use internet apps and programs for just about everything we do, so training opportunities (on your own time) can be provided if you'd like to take on more responsibility beyond the original scope of the job.

This position is 10 hours per week to start. Hours can be flexible but predictable -- daytime only. Pay rate will be between $20 and $25 per hour depending on experience and references.
