Description
Litigation Specialist (Legal Reporting)
Full-time, remote
Litigation Management, Inc. (LMI) is seeking a full-time, remote Litigation Specialist with strong Excel skills to support client relations and provide high-quality support to case coordination within the Client Services team. Under the direction of the Litigation Manger, the specialist is responsible for fulfilling client requests, preparing work product, and facilitating timely record collection efforts. A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, proactive, and collaborative.
This is a full-time, remote position with the expected working hours of 8:30 am – 5 pm ET, with additional hours as needed depending on client needs. A laptop or desktop with additional screen will be required as we do not provide equipment. Chromebooks are not supported by our systems.
The primary responsibilities of this role are:
Ensuring delivery of accurate status updates and reporting to clients based upon clients’ timeline and needs
- Conducting ongoing reviews of quality data regarding record collection efforts
- Reviewing, categorizing and processing legal documents and maintain updated information in LMI systems and designated databases
- Monitoring and supporting client case management activity and proactively escalating issues to Litigation Manager
- Serving as liaison between clients and multiple LMI teams
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in an office environment
- At least 1 year of experience in a forward-facing customer service role
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel, including: VLOOKUP, advanced editing and formatting, and creation/use of pivot tables
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience in a legal office environment
- Experience with medical terminology and/or medical records
- Experience in auditing
