Legal Researcher

Responsibilities:

- Conduct legal research and analysis on various topics using resources such as Westlaw
- Compile and organize research findings into comprehensive reports
- Assist in drafting legal documents, contracts, and agreements
- Proofread and edit legal documents for accuracy and clarity
- Transcribe and summarize legal documents, depositions, and interviews
- Assist with legal case management, including organizing files and maintaining databases
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars

Skills:

- Strong research skills with the ability to gather information from various sources
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Proficient in proofreading and editing legal documents
- Ability to transcribe accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with contract drafting and review
- Experience using legal research databases such as Westlaw or LexisNexis
- Familiarity with legal case management software

As a Researcher, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team by conducting thorough research, assisting in document preparation, and providing administrative support. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work independently will contribute to the success of our firm.
