Job Description

Sutherland is seeking Work-at-Home Licensed Health Insurance Sales Advisors for a 5-month contract. Our Advisors provide professional sales presentations over the phone to sell Medical/Dental/Vison insurance to existing and prospective customers. This is a temporary 5-month contract (end date Jan 31, 2024)

In this position, you will:

• Receive inbound phone calls from prospects and use assumptive sales techniques to enroll them in one or more of the client’s insurance products.
• Make outbound phone calls to prospects and use assumptive, effective sales techniques to enroll them in one or more of the client’s insurance products (when applicable).
• Gather all required data; determine eligibility; build relationships and establish rapport with callers to gain trust and manage follow-up calls to ensure timely responses
• Accurately process application/ information in sales and customer systems; and track/record outcome of calls as well as issues and inquiries requiring follow-up

Qualifications

• Active L&H insurance license, valid in state of residence
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Solid experience using Microsoft Office Suite

We will provide all equipment, but to work from home you must possess:

• Internet access speeds of 10Mbps upload and 50 Mbps download – the faster the better!
• Hardwired internet connection; wireless and/or satellite Internet Service Providers are not compatible with our systems.
