Lifepoint Health has an opportunity for a Manager, Drug Diversion Prevention - Remote. The Drug Diversion Prevention, Manager, data support, informatics, and drug diversion investigations, supports and optimizes the drug diversion prevention program across the enterprise. The Manager’s responsibilities will be focused on utilizing data analytics, drug diversion surveillance software, various auditing techniques, and other investigative activities, to support the drug diversion prevention program across the health care system. The position will be cross trained with other members of the Drug Diversion Prevention team, including but not limited to; DEA type compliance inspections, drug diversion investigations, prevention, detection, and training to maximize compliance with controlled substance laws and regulations across the enterprise. This position will report to the Assistant Vice President, Drug Diversion Prevention.

Essential Functions:
- Analyzes diversion data for trends and identifies system wide opportunities for process improvement.
- Collects and tracks enterprise diversion related data, notification and remediation following significant loss or theft from drug diversion events.
- Investigates, analyzes, and applies judgment to complex fact patterns, including those requiring an understanding of DEA regulatory and enforcement policies; controlled substances management devices, and drug diversion surveillance software.
- Supports all relevant departments and facilities with data analytics needs specific to drug diversion prevention and drug diversion investigations.
- Works collaboratively with all relevant departments and facilities during drug diversion investigations and serves as a controlled substance and drug diversion subject matter expert.
- Collaborates to develop, implement, and lead training programs on enterprise-wide controlled substance policies and procedures, prevention, regulatory compliance, and drug diversion trends.
- Collaborates to establish and maintain a comprehensive enterprise-wide surveillance and auditing program for the early detection of drug diversion.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

KNOWLDDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: 1+ years’ experience in pharmacy operations, drug diversion investigations, and drug diversion data analytics.
Travel may vary between 25% and 30%
