TeamSnap is looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager reporting to the SVP of People and leading our efforts to bring in best-in-class talent. This individual will come in to drive our full-recruitment cycle and be an essential business partner for our hiring managers. If you’re an experienced talent acquisition professional who has a history of bringing in phenomenal talent. a bent for technology, and a dash of humor, we want to hear from you.
What You'll be Doing
- Drive and continually improve a talent acquisition strategy that supports company goals and business objectives
- Keep the company and your team fresh on best practices and emerging trends to ensure we remain competitive in attracting top talent
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers to candidates
- Utilize a mix of traditional and innovative sourcing strategies to identify passive and active candidates resulting in a continuous pipeline of talent
- Conduct in-depth interviews to assess candidates’ skills, qualifications, cultural add, and potential here at TeamSnap
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and maintain a strong employer brand that brings us the best talent
- Create compelling job descriptions, advertisements, sourcing documents, and other recruitment materials that reflect TeamSnap’s values and opportunities
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of TeamSnap’s recruiting practices
- Use data and insights to make informed decisions and continuously improve the recruitment process
- Lead and manage a team of recruiters and coordinators, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure strong operations for the TA team and the People function
Some things that are important
- 7+ years experience in progressive recruiting experience - everything from individual contributor to executive roles
- Previous experience leading a team and/or the TA function
- A demonstrated ability to build robust pipelines of candidates for current and future roles
- Experience working with You have a high EQ - building strong relationships and partnerships quickly is your superpower
- Experience filling technical roles for a SaaS company
- A curious mind - even if you don’t know the answer, you’ll think creatively and seek new ways to do the thing you’re unsure of
- A sense of humor. We work hard so we make sure we have fun doing it
- A degree from clown school
- The ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities
- Comfort providing coaching and feedback to all levels - we mean it when we say trust is a core value
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal communication skills
Other things that are nice to have
- Experience working for a fully remote or distributed organization
- The ability to freestyle rif about penguins in any given meeting

Location
TeamSnap is a fully remote company, so you need to be very comfortable working with people who aren’t in the same time zone as you. We are always expanding, but there is a small list of states we do not hire in, including Alabama, Alaska, Delaware, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Iowa, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Rhode Island, South Dakota and West Virginia and while we love all parts of the world, we can only hire permanent US residents at this time.
