Full job description

Remote Medical Biller needed for an established licensed Psychological Services company helping patients in assistant living facilities and nursing homes.

This is a 1099 position, so you must have estensive experience in medical billing.

Duties:

• Review procedure and diagnostic coding
• Register patient information
• Enter charges
• Process payments
• Process insurance claims
• Submit electronic claims
• Perform collection follow-up minimum 14 days, based on insurance requirements
• Manage courier service
• Online Insurance Verification

Knowledgeable:

• Accounts receivable
• Payer performance
• Profitability
• Patient charges, payments, and demographics

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
