Job Summary:
The Network Analyst is responsible for day-to-day operations of Enterprise data communications and local systems and resources including Cisco network switches, Wireless communications, and Aruba Mobility Controllers and support Vail’s retail stores on the Front Range. The Network Analyst works as part of the IT team to proactively identify problems and facilitate solutions in a that provides an Experience of a Lifetime for employees and guests. The Network Analyst prioritizes safety and guest service while living the company’s core values to deliver excellent IT support.

- The budgeted range starts at $59,100 - $79,530. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
Responsibilities:
Be Safe:
- Prioritize and ensure personal, coworker and guest safety in all aspects of your work.

- Engage in company trainings and initiatives to support safety.
Serve Others:
- Support and administer server infrastructure
- Support PC technicians by providing network knowledge to assist in accomplishing tasks
- Support Vail Resorts Retail locations on the Front Range – Point of Sale and network
- Use the work ticket management system to manage start-to-finish work flow for support tickets in alignment with company metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
- Provide exceptional guest service supporting users and collaborating with coworkers, ensuring the Experience of a Lifetime.
Drive Value for the Company:
- Secure network architecture and NAC and basic firewall troubleshooting, Telecom enterprise / local systems and endpoints plus call centers
- Physical fiber and copper cable patching and troubleshooting; perform copper cable terminations as required
- Create and maintain documentation detailing network projects, design, & configuration
- Manage projects with internal stakeholders and 3rd-party vendors to add, fix, or replace existing network infrastructure both on-mountain and in resort base area(s)
- Willingness to bring new ideas to team(s) for constant evaluation, improvement, and/or implementation of Vail Resorts IT systems while adhering to IT standards
- Strive for continual improvement and growth by actively participating in company and IT-specific training.

Requirements:
- Positive, enthusiastic, and friendly.
- Solution oriented with desire to learn new skills.
- In depth knowledge of Cisco devices and Cisco DNA
- Familiarity with MS Windows and hardware troubleshooting
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
- Able to move 50 lbs (with assistance if needed).
- Should be able to work a schedule that can include weekends and holidays.
- Valid US driver’s license.
The expected Total Compensation for this role is $59,100 - $79,530. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
