The ideal candidate will organized, detail oriented and customer focused. From assisting with fulfilling customer requests, tracking orders and details, running and delivering reports, etc. Attention to detail, proactive organization skills and multitasking a must.
This is a full time work from home position, working Monday through Friday from 6am - 2pm each day.
Duties and responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure requests are met
- Communicate with third party vendors to ensure orders are met and deliveries are accurate
- Dispatch trucks from one location to the next via in-house software, text messaging and sometimes phone calls
- Accurately track order information and organize details associated with orders
- Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
- Monitor orders throughout the day to ensure completion or develop back up plan when necessary
- Enter data in computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information
- Prepare and distribute reports based on needs of buyers, trucking partners and customers
- Act as a communication liaison between buyers, trucking partners and drivers on the road
- Assist with ongoing documentation requirements, legal filings, etc
- Work with invoicing team to ensure accuracy and research discrepancies and process invoices
- Assist in managing invoices and billing
- Assist with payroll for employee group, including tracking hours, issuing pay
- Organize access for third party vendors
- Additional tasks as requested
Qualifications
Required:
- Strong Customer service/interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and be adaptable
- Organized, detail and deadline focused
- Proven success with building relationships with remote employees
- Capability to export route and delivery data for reporting
- Computer skills
- Independent and self-motivated and yet team and collaborative spirited
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Two years related experience and/or training in customer service, route optimization, dispatching or project management or equivalent combination of education and experiencePreferred:
- High school diploma
