Online Tutor (State-Certified Teachers Only)

Are you looking for supplemental income? Want to make your own hours? Work from home? Stride Tutoring is rapidly expanding and is looking for tutors to join its online platform. We offer tutoring to both district and school partners, as well as direct-to-consumer via our website.

To be considered:

• You must be a teacher with an active state-certification
• Pass a criminal background check
• Attend a live, remote information session
• Demonstrate mastery of the platform tools
• Live in the United States or US territories

Once you're accepted:

• Complete a Stride Tutoring training course
• Create your tutor profile
• Set your availability
• List the courses you're qualified to tutor

Once your profile is approved, you can start receiving student bookings in either 1-on-1 or small group formats. There are plenty of opportunities for regular, recurring sessions through our district partners.

Right now, our highest demand needs include daytime availability (8:00am - 3:00pm EST) for the following subjects:

• English Language Arts for grades 3-8
• Math for grades 3-8
• Middle & high school sciences for grades 6-12
• Bilingual Spanish speaking tutors
