Compensation Range: $15 - $23 per hour dependent on experience
Monthly Bonus Potential: $350 - $500
Position Overview

Our East Region Central Business Office is currently seeking strong Patient Account Representatives to join our energetic team that handles medical billing and collections for our outpatient physical therapy clinics. This is a remote position. Individuals applying must have 2 solid years of experience in Medical Billing and Collections.

Job Duties:

• Re-bill, upload, and correct claims in a clearinghouse
• Status unpaid claims and patient accounts
• Reading remits from insurance payers
• Appealing claims for reimbursement

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 2+ years of previous billing experience - Physical Therapy, Chiropractic, or DME preferred
• Excellent telephone skills
• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Medical software experience, preferably Raintree and/or Practice Suite
• Available and flexible with your hours
• Close attention to detail
• Productive time management and great organizational skills
• Team player attitude and energetic with a focus on excellent customer service
