GENERAL INTERN DESCRIPTION

Get Shot By A Girl Productions is seeking an enthusiastic intern to join our team in CREATING, DEVELOPING, ENTERTAINING, and BRANDING. The Intern will assist in operations of day-to-day activities and will be exposed to all facets of Commercial, Music Video, Film, Series and Media. From Pre-production, production, post/editing, distribution and promo, our new apprentice will work on a vast array of tasks and will gain priceless knowledge and experience in the entertainment and visual branding world. There are no minor tasks or details in our office. Each task is essential to the function and operation of our team. So when you are running for that coffee or making that copy, know that it is essential to our most important asset, TIME and for that your job and function is essential and priceless. Our interns should have a general interest in film, music video, series, commercial, music, visual marketing and or other forms of media entertainment. Our interns have gone on to become Full-time producers, directors; media entrepreneurs and editors with our company so get ready for an exciting ride.

NOTES FROM THE CREATIVE DIRECTOR:

I'm looking for a super star assistant to assist with day to day operations of Get Shot By A Girl productions and who is interested in growing with my company. I want a self starter, who is energetic, who does NOT procrastinate and anticipates, expedites and executes tasks efficiently. The Person is task orientated, knows how to prioritize, multi tasks, is extremely organized and thorough. You should apply if you are internet and social media savvy and genius. You are up on all the latest news, current events and trends in social, music, entertainment and technology. You love music; specifically Hip Hop and RnB. You Love Film and movies. A Background in or interest in film or entertainment is a plus. I want someone who knows how to research and is an avid problem solver. You should know when to ask a question and know when to move forward. I want a people person, who loves to engage, is not a push over and can play bad cop when need be. Be ready and open to learning about entrepreneurship, entertainment , film and more.

QUALIFICATIONS/WHO YOU ARE:

• You can provide ideas that move the company forward
• You can handle moving through different departments
• You are interested in working in an office and on set
• You are apt in English and have general writing skills and ability

DAILY TASKS INCLUDE AND ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• General administrative duties
• Pre Production Planning and Organizing
• Writing Copy, proposals and treatments/concept writing
• Email /Phone Communication, Correspondence, Organizing and Managing
• Research and general help for project Manager, videographer and Marketing team
• General Deliveries and Pick-ups
• Participating in new ideas meetings
• Updating our online and social media content
• Work closely with videography and marketing interns or needed tasks
• Working on set as a General Production Assistant
• Calendar Scheduling and Organizing My week and tasks
• General Co Producing duties
• Cast and crew follow ups
• Client Follow ups
• Creating Call Sheets, Casting Calls
• Sending and securing our agreements
• Attending virtual creative meetings
• Assisting on film sets
• Organizing cast pick ups
• Location scouting
• Preparing lead sheets and finding potential leads
