Photo and Video Editor

We are an Art Dealership with a focus in 20th century art, looking for an experienced photo and video editor to work with us for an upcoming exhibition, to edit photos of the space and also produce promotional slideshows using After Effects . Qualified candidates should have experience creating perfect renders out of raw photographs, fixing all blemishes, shadows, lights, and any other outlying inconsistencies, and should also be experienced with naturalistic post-production, with the ability to composite external files into photographs to incorporate them perfectly into the background.

Responsibilities include:

• Compositing high resolution images of the artworks and frames into the photographs, making them appear fully immersed.
• Color-correcting walls, floors, and ceilings.
• Removing unnecessary shadows and highlights.
• Masking out other undesirable details in photographs.
• Produce high resolution reels of artworks using after effects.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with editing, rendering, and photo retouching of art photography for the art market and/or publications for interior and architectural design.
• Thorough knowledge of Lightroom, Photoshop, and After Effects.
• Prior experience effectively compositing digital assets into base images.
• Openness to effectively receive feedback, directions, and working with short deadlines.
• Interested candidates should provide samples of previous compositing work and any other notable examples of photo editing capabilities, with explanations included.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
