Full time/Part time, Morning or Afternoon Hours welcome! 1 to 5pm or 2 to 6pm or 3 to 7pm is ideal! 9 to 5, 10 to 6. All day available. Split hours if you wish!
Job description
Work from home. Choose the hours you wish to work. 4 hr minimum, but you define which four hours between 8 am and 6 pm EST. Split the hours if it fitsyour lifestyle! Just as long as you do your 4 hr minimum, it works for all! And of course, if you are looking for more hours, that’s even better!
Responsibilities:
- To obtain the authorization by reviewing medical records via the client’s EMR and calling the insurance company for approval and documenting the outcomes! Phoenix will provide shortcuts to getting through the authorization process quickly!
Earnings/Pay:
- Potential to earn $20-$30 per hour after orientation.
- Paid Remote Orientation. $60 per day from 11-3 pm EST for 10 days!
- Choose your steady hours AFTER the Orientation period of 10 days.
Many earn $20-$30 per hour. (Tiered rates; the more you do, the more you make! Some agents do 6 or 7 per hour with experience!

Hours Available After Training
- Part time and Full Time, Minimum 4 hours. Need after noon?
- Work anytime between hours Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 7 PM
- Hours should start no later than 2 or 3 pm. Split your hours if that fits your lifestyle!
Experience.
- Radiology, Surgical, Medication, Injections, Procedures, Ophthalmology, Precertification/authorization: 1 year (Required
- Phoenix will help you utilize your skills and past experience as an authorization specialist to build the case per Client specs and to use your knowledge to obtain that authorization.
- Phoenix provides guidelines per client protocol for all required elements, including working within the EMR to find and extract data, verifying CPT codes, presenting your case to Insurance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience medical prior authorizations.
- Minimum 1 year medical terminology.
- A PLUS is Prior EMR experience.
- A PLUS is Experience with online portals, such as Availity, Evicore, AIM, but NOT Mandatory!
- Strong Computer Skills, using Multiple windows and browsers simultaneously
- Microsoft Office experience
- Good Phone presence and grammar and spelling
Requirements
- Minimum 20 precerts per day within 6 weeks post-training. A mentor will help you to achieve this! Many agents do 35 to 40 per day
- Detail oriented with excellent organization skills, ability to multi-task and work independently
- Own or lease Microsoft Word and Excel
- 2 computer monitors mandatory to achieve high earning production
- High speed internet access (no Hotspots or Satellite)
