Opportunity:
Virtual Service Operations is searching for highly motivated and career-driven individuals to join our growing team as Procurement Specialists. In this role you would be a part of our growing relationship with one of our great clients and have responsibilities in receiving orders for replacement parts for desktop computers, laptops, and other IT assets.
An ideal candidate will have excellent asset management and people skills to ensure the part ordering process is smooth and pleasant for all users.
As a Procurement Specialist - IT Hardware, you will play a pivotal role in the efficient procurement of IT hardware parts, including monitors, docking stations, and related components. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring seamless order placement and timely delivery of items. Collaborating with end-users and suppliers, you will gather specific replacement information, utilize electronic forms and systems, and perform quality checks on received items. Your expertise in using ServiceNow, Eform, SRIM, and SAP will be vital in tracking orders, auditing, invoicing, and generating reports to support decision-making and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Processing: Receive and process purchase requests for IT hardware parts submitted through the ServiceNow ticketing system. Tickets or line items are divided amongst the procurement specialists at the beginning of each day. Ensure accurate and complete order information is obtained.
- Information Gathering: Collaborate with end-users to gather specific replacement information necessary for ordering the correct hardware parts, clarifying requirements as needed. This may need to be pushed since there is a 5 day SLA that must be met, so information and approval needs to be gathered in a timely manner.
- Electronic Forms and SRIM: Initiate and track procurement orders using electronic forms (Eform) and the Supplier Relationship Information Management (SRIM) system, maintaining meticulous records of orders through ServiceNow.
- SAP Integration: Utilize SAP for auditing purposes, entering order information, and generating invoice numbers upon order completion, ensuring compliance with financial processes.
Additionally, may be asked to:
Order Tracking: Update stakeholders on the status of orders, proactively addressing potential delays or issues to maintain on-time deliveries. However, you are to close the ticket once the order is placed.
Requirements:
