Position Overview
The Scholarship Programs team is responsible for understanding and addressing the legislative requirements that govern our products, particularly in relation to scholarships and funding programs. The Scholarship Programs team collaborates with the Policy, Innovation, and Empowerment (PIE), process improvement/program responsibility, and compliance teams to understand product requirements and enhancements. In partnership with cross-functional teams, the Scholarship Program team reviews and communicates relevant information to the Product Management team to guide product development and enhancement efforts.
This Scholarships Program Coordinator is responsible for helping to implement the strategic, tactical, and operational agendas of the Scholarships Programs Department. The coordinator plays a crucial role in the management and administration of our scholarship programs. Program Coordinators will ensure the smooth operation of the programs, coordinating activities, tracking and maintaining tickets submitted for system issues, and providing assistance to core program stakeholders. This position requires accuracy, precision, confidence, adaptability, flexibility, and confidentiality.
Essential Functions
- Assist the Scholarship Program Director in developing and implementing strategic plans, policies, and procedures for the scholarship programs.
- Provide critical support to the Program Director and other team leaders, as needed, to help run the day-to-day functions of the organization.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for program-related inquiries, providing timely and accurate information to applicants, recipients, and external stakeholders.
- Conduct preliminary research on a variety of topics; draft materials as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as finance, legal, and communications, to ensure compliance with program guidelines, financial reporting, and communication strategies.
- Support the selection and award process, including organizing review committees and compiling evaluation feedback
- Assist in the preparation of program reports, presentations, and other materials for executive leadership, board members, and external partners.
- Maintain program databases and tracking systems, ensuring data accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity.
- Coordinate program-related events, workshops, and training sessions, both virtually and in-person, to educate stakeholders and promote program awareness.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by gathering feedback, conducting research, and suggesting enhancements to program processes and procedures.
- Support the Program Director in developing partnerships with external parties to enhance the experience for customers
- Analyze data and prepare it accordingly so that the Program Director and other senior members of the Scholarship
- Programs team can make informed decisions.
- Stay informed about legislative changes, policy updates, and best practices in scholarship program administration, sharing relevant information with the Program Director and team.

Minimum Qualifications
- Three to five years of experience assisting leadership.
