Responsibilities:
The Building Systems Group of the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory seeks a Project Coordinator to perform project management support and financial coordination to a wide range of building energy efficiency, test & evaluation, and operations & controls projects for primarily our Department of Energy and Department of Defense clients. The successful candidate will work in a cross-disciplinary environment and will play a supporting role in successfully delivering our projects and proposals on time, within budget. The successful candidate will be supporting our project managers and other senior staff in planning, executing, tracking, and reporting of projects. Key to success in the position is a positive, "can do" attitude, ability to multi-task, and communicate effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Assists in daily coordination of project(s) including preparing and maintaining project plans, budgets, and staffing requirements. Tracks progress and identifies/resolves obstacles. Communicates to internal and external clients. Prepares purchase requisitions (PRs) and tracks procurements and service contracts throughout lifecycle. Supports business office in setting up financial structures, work breakdown structures, and maintains financial integrity. Has knowledge of a wide-range of PNNL business systems. May perform some administrative tasks such and arranging meetings, developing agendas and preparing progress reports.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS/BA or higher -OR-
- AA and 10 years of relevant experience -OR-
- HS/GED and 12 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with PNNL project management and business systems.
