Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for the development of strategic project management plans, day-to-day planning, implementation and tracking project deliverables in order to drive operational and strategic project plans. The Project Manager applies experience and subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex operational issues using LEAN methodologies. This position is responsible for moderately complex and high risk projects, manages mid to upper level stakeholders, manages project team size of 20+ team members, and is responsible for managing approved budgets. This position has no direct reports.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead project teams including cross –functional subject matter experts across Elixir, internal/external Client accounts and operations.
- Develop project management plans and for multiple projects at any given time and be required to drive projects to completion remaining on scope and schedule.
- Provide subject matter expertise in areas including project scope definition, risk management, project methodology, resource allocation, facilitation, and other areas of expertise based on established project management techniques.
- Oversee planning, direction and coordination of strategic programs from initiation through to implementation
- Identify and communicate issues, risks, and status to propose solutions, drive decisions and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Lead and motivate teams and cross functional business leaders to execute multiple projects in various stages of the
- Work with project leaders and senior management to define the scope, objectives and outcomes to be measured for completion of projects including development of a project charter for each initiative
- Identify resources required to complete project and review with senior management to establish a project life cycle.
- Define/Manage project scope: able to lead the change management processes to drive effective project execution (launch, deployment, revisions, and change control) and raise awareness when misalignment or misunderstanding of scope with stakeholders.
- Establish a communication plan to update senior management and other stakeholders of progress and ensure timely, appropriate escalations
- Develop documentation and tracking methods to ensure that all project information is secured and that project objectives and deadlines are met
- Monitor progress of project activities, identify risks and issues timely, collaborate with project teams to solve issues, and make adjustments to the project schedule if necessary to ensure successful completion
- Liaise with Business Analysts for requirements gathering and documentation of new processes
- Ensure that project deliverables are on time, within budget and meet quality standards.

The Typical starting pay range for this position is between $77,000 to $121,000, although wages can vary based on experience and geography.
