Who We’re After
handdii is seeking a Quality Assurance team member to ensure contractor adherence to scope and estimating standards in the insurance industry. As a software product with contractors currently undertaking repair work in both Australia and the United States this role is remote and based in the United States. Closely working with the senior leaders of the organization and operations team this role is critical to the success and future growth of the business.
You will be working alongside a small but dedicated team of collaborating operational and development resources on the various layers of the infrastructure for our handdii platform.

- Comfortable communicating with contractors to revise and improve detail in scope and estimates.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Strong knowledge of insurance related estimating.
- Positive energy and a friendly, calm approach in all situations
- Critical thinker and problem solver.
- Good attitude towards tech and adapt at using and training others on systems
- Results orientation – Demonstrating urgency, desire to accomplish, and balancing short / long-term goals.
- Problem solving – Methodical approach, involving others as needed, committing to action while maintaining sound judgement.
- Great written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Review and Enhance our Quality Assurance process.
- Ensure contractor compliance to scope and estimate standards & timeliness KPI’s
- Audit and drive adherence to scope and estimate standards & timeliness KPI’s
- Daily administration of claims and repairs to ensure client service levels are met
- Inbound and outbound calls supporting customers, contractors and adjusters to help process claim fulfilment
Requirements
- Experience with multiple construction estimating software platforms inclusive of Xactimate and Symbility
- 2+ years estimating experience in insurance mitigation/reconstruction industry.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of current construction industry standards.
- A trade qualification/ or background will be advantageous, however not essential.
- Customer support and administration experience
