Description
The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst's role is to develop and establish quality assurance standards and measures for the information technology services within the organization. This individual will also gather and analyze data in support of proposed projects, and systems requirements, conduct internal audits to measure and assure adherence to established QA standards for software development, application integration, and information system performance, and corresponding documentation. Quality assurance specialist duties mainly consist of ensuring that all external standards are observed before the final product reaches the customer. To this end, QA pros are responsible for implementation of inspecting activities, detection of problem areas, and delivering quality inspection outcomes. In addition, they oversee planning and performing corrective actions if defects are found.
Duties:
- Provides analysis for proper utilization of MEP to ensure timely and accurate completion on medical reports.
- Document quality issues and performance measures for management review.
- Analyze data and observations and write result summaries to validate deviations from existing standards.
Recommend modifications to existing standards, methods, or procedures. - Review analyze and implement processes and report trends to promote customer satisfaction.
- Conduct internal quality assurance of providers (medical professionals).
- Compile strategic information and develop reports to monitor quality effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance and understanding of quality requirements.
- Manage special projects and make recommendations as appropriate.
- Conduct conference calls and refresher training with providers.
- Respond to compliance issues in the absence of the Director of Compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Must have experience in creating and implementing a detailed plan to ensure overall quality of all services and systems.
- Must have experience in resolving all project or program release problems and take corrective action, escalating as needed, to resolve and achieve results.
- Must have experience in assuring the viability, functionality and effectiveness of essential tools.
- Former extensive experience in the VA
- Experience with VBA
