Description
The Recruiter/HR Associate is responsible for developing and implementing effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates, and providing support to the HR department.
· Full cycle recruiting - posting job ads, sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens and interviews
· Conduct reference and background checks
· Manage onboarding and new hire process
· Enter new hires in the system
· Attend and participate in job fairs
· Create and post ads on social media
· Facilitate the unemployment process
· Provide clerical and administrative support
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
· Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
· 3+ years of relevant experience
· Demonstrated success in recruiting and retaining talent
· Understanding of employment law
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field
· Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
· Fluent in English
· Ability to work with limited supervision
· Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
